Job Overview
As a Depot based yard person, you will be responsible for preparing equipment for delivery, jet washing returned equipment, assisting in carrying out pre delivery checks of our Scissor Lifts, Booms and Telescopic Handlers and general duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the depot senior engineer.
- Yard/Depot Maintenance and Cleaning
- Inventory and Stock Management
- Operational Support Tasks
- Jet washing equipment down prior to inspection.
- Ensuring that our equipment is maintained to a very high standard.
- Ensuring the utmost levels of service are provided to our customer base.
About you
Experience in the powered access, telescopic handler or general hire sector is preferable but not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate. If you have transferable skills and a good work ethic, Summit Platforms can organise for you to shadow our qualified engineers and attend a structured PDI training course.
