Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food service, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
- Support the catering team in preparing ingredients and assembling dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times
- Help with basic cooking tasks under supervision, including chopping, mixing, and plating
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure efficient kitchen workflow
- Support serving staff during meal service periods when required
- Assist with inventory management and storage of ingredients and supplies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
