Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages with precision and flair
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Assist with food preparation including snacks, sandwiches, or baked goods as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling payments and giving correct change
- Support team members during busy periods by multitasking effectively and managing time efficiently
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is highly desirable but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Ability to serve customers professionally with a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a lively environment
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting supplies or equipment
- Reliable team player with excellent communication skills
