Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience from greeting to farewell
- Assist with food and beverage service, including taking orders, serving dishes, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Support food safety standards by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Prepare simple food items and assist in kitchen operations as needed to ensure smooth workflow
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver prompt service without compromising quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, counters, and workstations throughout your shift
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations and a positive environment for both staff and guests
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings with a strong focus on guest services
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Basic culinary skills including food preparation and kitchen support tasks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Familiarity with serving procedures, cash handling, and basic math for order processing
