Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be the welcoming face of our establishment, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within catering, serving, and food safety, contributing to a memorable guest experience.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and efficiently upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a courteous manner
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Handle payments and operate POS systems with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Support barista duties if applicable, including making coffee and specialised drinks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
- Uphold hospitality standards by providing attentive and friendly service throughout guests’ visit
- Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Taking orders on the till
- Keeping kitchen areas clean and tidy
- Assisting chefs and baristas with basic prep tasks when required
- Managing waste and recycling efficiently
- Maintaining high hygiene and safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is advantageous
- Experience in restaurant settings or barista roles is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills and a welcoming demeanour are essential
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
- A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail and organisation
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as required
