We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office & Welfare Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across office spaces and welfare facilities for our construction company client. The ideal candidate will need to have previous experience in commercial cleaning and janitorial work, with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our organisation through professional cleaning services.
Location
TOWNLEY ROAD, DULWICH, LONDON, SE22 8SU.
Working hours as follows: 2 hours per day- 5 days per week, start & finsh times flexible.
Rate of Pay £14.80p/hr
Short term contract - To end of October
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of office areas, including desks, floors and communal spaces
- Clean and sanitise welfare facilities such as kitchens, toilets, restrooms, and break areas
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards of hygiene
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll in welfare facilities
- Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain cleanliness in designated areas
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning to management
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and environmentally friendly products where possible
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures in a professional environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable with a good work ethic and punctuality
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
