We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Deep Cleaner to join our team within a care home environment. The role involves carrying out thorough deep cleaning throughout the home, ensuring bedrooms, communal areas, bathrooms and other areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has good attention to detail and understands the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.
Flexible hours are available Monday to Friday, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking for work that can fit around other commitments.
Key Duties

Carry out deep cleaning of resident bedrooms, communal areas, bathrooms and other areas of the home.

Clean and sanitise surfaces, floors, furniture, fixtures and fittings to a high standard.

Undertake detailed cleaning of areas that may not be covered during routine cleaning.

Follow cleaning schedules and infection prevention and control procedures.

Use cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately.

Report any maintenance issues, damage or concerns identified during cleaning.

Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are kept clean, tidy and safely stored.

Work respectfully around residents, maintaining their privacy, dignity and wellbeing at all times.

Work flexibly with the care team to minimise disruption to residents.

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout the home.
- Excellent hourly rates of pay, with annual uplifts, with clear pay bands.

Extra hourly rates paid for weekends with £0.50 Sat / £0.75 Sun.
