About the Role
In this dynamic and rewarding role, you’ll lead a team delivering responsive, person-centred mental health support out in the community.
You’ll work closely with individuals experiencing a range of mental health needs, helping them maintain independence, build resilience, and stay connected to their community.
You’ll combine strong, compassionate leadership with hands-on involvement—ensuring your team delivers safe, effective care while maintaining high standards across all aspects of the service. Every day is different, but the impact you’ll make is constant.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and develop a team of mental health professionals or support workers
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality, recovery-focused community care
- Manage caseload oversight and ensure effective risk management
- Champion safeguarding and ensure compliance with best practice and policies
- Build strong partnerships with healthcare providers, social services, and community organisations
- Monitor service performance and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide guidance and support during complex or crisis situation
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in community mental health or related services
- Previous leadership or senior-level experience within health or social care
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment, and recovery models
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Calm, resilient, and confident decision-maker
- Passion for supporting people to live independently and thrive
- Relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3/4, or equivalent) – desirable

Pay: £13.95-£14.95 per hour
Experience:
- Community Mental Health Support: 3 years (required)
- Team Leader: 1 year (preferred)
- Office: 1 year (preferred)
