Duties
- Lead the end-to-end deployment of IT solutions, including cloud services such as AWS and Azure, ensuring alignment with client requirements and system architecture standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement system architectures that incorporate virtualization (VMware, ESXi), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and microservices frameworks.
- Configure and manage network components including VPNs, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, load balancers, and operating systems like Windows and Linux to guarantee secure and reliable connectivity.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, Shell Scripting, or PowerShell to streamline deployment processes within CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins and Git.
- Conduct thorough system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting across various platforms such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra), ensuring optimal performance.
- Implement security measures by managing information security protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and conducting vulnerability assessments aligned with industry standards.
- Document deployment procedures meticulously while providing technical support during post-deployment phases to ensure system stability and performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in deploying enterprise IT solutions with a strong understanding of computer networking principles including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, load balancing, and firewall configurations.
- Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure; familiarity with cloud architecture design is essential.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, Ruby on Rails or C++, along with scripting skills in Bash or Shell Scripting.
- Deep knowledge of operating systems like Windows Server and various Linux distributions; experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi or Hyper-V is required.
- Strong background in systems engineering encompassing system design, architecture development, system administration and troubleshooting across diverse environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), using tools like Jenkins or Git for automation workflows.
- Experience working with APIs (RESTful services), web services (SOAP), service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices architecture and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL, Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL; understanding of NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging complex issues related to system performance or security vulnerabilities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders while maintaining detailed documentation of deployment processes.
