Duties
- Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather accurate pricing information.
- Develop detailed budgets for projects, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Maintain organised records of estimates, assumptions, and pricing data for future reference.
- Support the sales team during client presentations by providing clear cost breakdowns and justifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a flooring Estimator.
- Strong understanding of cost control principles and budgeting techniques.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
