Cooneen is hiring at our Managed Service Centre in Wrexham. We require Warehouse Operatives to work as part of a small, friendly team to pick, pack and dispatch deliveries to our customers as well as unloading and putting away deliveries from our suppliers.
Key tasks/main activities:
- Be able to load and unload lorries with efficiency
- Ensure packs/boxes are correct in every way
- Ensure packs/boxes are sealed properly
- Input data onto PRIMA system and relevant IT systems/ packages
- Keeping records/paperwork up to date for example, shipping paperwork, despatch notes and picking lists .
- Maintain a clean and tidy workplace
- To identify opportunities for improving the method of operation in your area of responsibility.
- Any other duties deemed necessary by management.
- Observe all Company Rules, Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policies, particularly in relation to Health and Safety, Harassment, Disciplinary and ICT Security.
- Maximise efficiency by supporting Cooneen Lean continuous improvement activities

Essential
- Physically able to load and unload consignment.
- Competent in the use of IT Microsoft Office
- Ability to work well as part of a team and under direction
- Keen eye for detail to ensure any imperfections are noticed
- A good level of English to understand instructions and follow health & safety procedures
- Excellent organisational skills
- Current DBS Vetting Check
Desirable
- Relevant experience in a Stores/Warehouse environment
- GCSE Mathematics and English or equivalent at C Grade or above (or significant work experience)
- Experience of using IT Stock systems
- Valid Forklift/Telehandler Licence
- Experience of working a similar operation
- Experience with the warehousing of similar products.
