Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Grab Driver to join our team in N18. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and passengers, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a professional attitude, good mechanical knowledge, and experience with commercial driving. The successful applicant will contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics services while adhering to all safety regulations.

Duties
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including lorries and excavators, as required for different tasks
- Transport goods or passengers to designated locations within the specified area in a timely manner
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal functioning
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring secure placement during transit
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and trips, including mileage and fuel consumption
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure safe journeys at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules, delays, or issues encountered during trips
- Support with mechanical troubleshooting or minor repairs when necessary
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with lorry or heavy vehicle operation
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and basic repairs
- Hands-on experience operating excavators or similar machinery is advantageous
- Valid driving licence suitable for commercial vehicles with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of local routes within N18 and surrounding areas is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks effectively
