We are looking for a Blind Assembler to join us in our factory in Ashford, Kent. You will be working as part of a small, friendly team making a variety of blinds. Conservatory Blinds Design & Manufacturing Ltd is a family owned, family run company, that has been trading for over 20 years. We pride ourselves on the quality and innovation of our products.
The role will include but not limited to the following:
· Roller Blind Assembly
· Using small hand tools/cutting fabrics
· Stock management
· Inspecting fabrics
· Following correct Health & Safety procedures
· Providing support to other departments as and when required.
Full training will be given for this role, but the ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be able to work at a fast pace and have experience of using hand tools. The role will involve some heavy lifting and require the candidate to be comfortable stretching/reaching over large roller tables.
The hourly rate will start at £12.80 per hour, this will increase to £13.30 per hour once probation has been completed.
Working hours are 5 days a week (Monday - Thursday 8 am-5 pm, 1-hour break; Friday 7 am-4 pm. 1 hour break). Additional hours maybe required due to the needs of the business.
Annual leave is 28 days, including bank holidays.
