Kurt Hobbs Coachworks is a well-established and highly respected commercial vehicle bodybuilder, specialising in new vehicle builds, accident repairs, vehicle graphics, signwriting and bespoke commercial vehicle solutions. With continued investment in our Signs & Graphics department, we are looking for an experienced Signs & Graphics Fitter to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in vehicle wrapping, vinyl application and commercial vehicle livery who takes pride in producing high-quality work.
The Role
Working as part of our specialist graphics team, you will be responsible for applying vehicle graphics and vinyl wraps to a wide variety of commercial vehicles including vans, trucks and specialist fleet vehicles.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Applying vinyl graphics, decals and vehicle liveries to commercial vehicles.
- Installing full and partial vehicle wraps to the highest standard.
- Preparing vehicle surfaces prior to vinyl application.
- Measuring, positioning and fitting graphics accurately.
- Working from design specifications and customer artwork.
- Ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop with an exceptional finish.
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean, organised working environment.
- Supporting colleagues across the workshop where required.
- Working safely and following company quality procedures.
About You
We're looking for someone who has previous experience within vehicle graphics and understands the importance of quality workmanship.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience fitting vehicle graphics, wraps and vinyl.
- Experience working on commercial vehicles, vans, trucks or fleet vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of vinyl application techniques.
- Experience with vehicle livery installation.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- A full UK driving licence (preferred).
