We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Handyman to join our team.
You will carry out general repairs and maintenance in our properties. The role is practical and hands-on, so you should be confident fixing everyday maintenance problems.
This is a general handyman role, not a specialist trade role.
Main Duties
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance.
- Fix doors, windows, locks, etc.
- Carry out basic plumbing repairs.
- Carry out basic electrical maintenance where competent and safe to do so.
- Carry out basic carpentry and other handyman work.
- Inspect properties and report any problems.
- Complete maintenance jobs within the required time.
- Keep properties safe and in good condition.
- Communicate with the office about any maintenance issues when attended
- Keep simple records of completed work.
Experience Required
- Previous experience as a handyman or maintenance worker.
- Good general knowledge of property repairs.
- Basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable, practical and hardworking.
Specialist qualifications are not required, but you must be confident carrying out general maintenance and handyman work safely.
Pay: £100.00-£120.00 per day
