Forklift Operative – Belfast
£13.75 per hour | 40 hours per week | Permanent opportunity
Go Pig Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable Forklift/Warehouse Operative to join our team at our production facility in the Titanic Quarter, Belfast, where we produce high-protein, quality ready meals.
This is a hands-on role within a busy warehouse environment, supporting the safe and efficient movement, storage and handling of goods.
What We Offer
- £13.75 per hour, paid weekly
- 40 hours per week, worked over 5 days
- Monday to Saturday working pattern, with one day off during the following week when Saturday work is required
- Permanent position available following successful completion of the probationary period

The Role
As a Forklift/Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout the warehouse and supporting the wider production operation.
Key Duties
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading goods vehicles
- Moving and storing goods throughout the warehouse
- Assisting with stock control and inventory counts
- Reporting equipment breakdowns, spillages and quality control issues
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse
- Ensuring all hygiene, health & safety and quality standards are consistently followed
- Supporting other warehouse and production duties as required
Essential Criteria
- Valid forklift licence – essential
- Previous warehouse or production experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
Hours of Work
The role is based on a 40-hour working week across 5 days, Monday to Saturday. Where Saturday work is required, a day off will be provided during the following week.
