Job Overview
We are looking for a hardworking and dependable Cleaner to join our weekend team. Shifts are Saturday and Sunday mornings, commencing 8am for 2-3 hours maximum. This role involves physically demanding work, including extensive floor cleaning across large indoor areas, so stamina and a strong work ethic are essential. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks in designated areas, with a strong focus on large-scale floor maintenance such as sweeping, mopping and scrubbing.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, kitchens, offices, and communal and outdoor spaces.
- Use all cleaning supplies and equipment correctly and store them safely after use.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, or damage to management promptly.
- Work efficiently while upholding a consistent standard of cleanliness and organisation.
- Liaise with team members to accommodate specific cleaning needs.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential—training can be provided.
- Comfortable with physically demanding tasks, especially floor cleaning in large spaces.
- Good spoken and written communication skills in English.
- A friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service approach.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
