Job Summary
ESA Impianti Engineering & Technical Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior M&E Engineering Manager to lead mechanical and electrical engineering activities across building services, construction, installation, and technical projects.
The successful candidate will manage engineering teams, contractors, technical designs, project delivery, budgets, and quality standards while ensuring M&E works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
What You'll Do
- Lead mechanical and electrical engineering operations and project delivery
- Manage M&E engineers, supervisors, contractors, consultants, and technical teams
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, HVAC, building services, and associated installations
- Review technical drawings, specifications, designs, and engineering documentation
- Manage project programmes, budgets, resources, procurement, and technical deliverables
- Coordinate M&E activities with construction, design, commercial, and project teams
- Oversee testing, commissioning, handover, and technical inspections
- Monitor contractors, suppliers, installation quality, and project performance
- Support health and safety, quality assurance, and applicable technical compliance
- Identify engineering risks and resolve technical and operational issues
Requirements
- Significant experience in M&E engineering, building services, construction, or technical project management
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and contractors
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems
- Experience with HVAC, electrical distribution, controls, or related building services
- Strong project-management, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Good commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and resources
- Familiarity with UK building services standards and health and safety requirements is advantageous
- Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent professional experience is preferred

Pay: £75,000.00-£95,000.00 per year
