Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Chef to join our team at Third Life Care Ltd in the GB area. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing nutritious and appealing meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents, contributing to their well-being and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Lead food preparation and cooking activities ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food production processes.
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with care staff to accommodate special dietary requirements.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership.
- Contribute to menu planning that reflects residents' nutritional needs and preferences.
- Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen or catering environment.
- Strong food preparation and cooking skills.
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience, preferably within healthcare or elderly care settings.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication skills.
