We’re looking for an experienced, confident barber to join our busy, long-established barbershop. This could be either as an employee of HFM Willerby with all usual perks that go with that - Holidays, Pension scheme etc or on a self-employed, rent-a-chair basis depending on the applicant.
We have a loyal existing clientele and are now looking for an extra pair of hands to help meet demand — particularly on Saturdays, which are our busiest days. Saturday availability is essential.
This opportunity could suit someone looking for anything from 8 hours up to full-time, depending on what works for you and what fits in with us.
We’re ideally looking for somebody who:
- Is confident in all aspects of barbering
- Has good customer service and enjoys working as part of a team
- Is reliable, professional, and motivated
- May already have an existing client base they’d like to bring with them, whilst also accommodating shop clientele
- Can provide barbering services including hair cutting, shaving, and beard trimming
- Offer hair styling advice and recommend appropriate products
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work area and tools
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Keep up-to-date with latest trends in hair styling and groomingThis is a great opportunity for somebody wanting to work independently within a friendly, well-established shop with a strong reputation, regular footfall, and an existing customer base.
