We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Front of House Restaurant Floor Supervisor to lead our restaurant team and help deliver an exceptional guest experience.
The Role
As Front of House Restaurant Floor Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our busy restaurant. Leading by example, you will ensure every guest receives outstanding service while supporting, motivating and developing the front of house team.This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and has a genuine passion for customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operation of the restaurant floor, ensuring consistently high service standards.
- Lead, motivate and support the front of house team during service.
- Welcome guests and ensure every customer receives a warm professional experience.
- Manage restaurant reservations and seating plans efficiently.
- Liaise closely with the kitchen to ensure smooth communication and timely service.
- Monitor food and beverage service, ensuring quality and presentation standards are maintained.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues professionally and promptly.
- Train, coach and develop new and existing team members.
- Assist with staff rotas, break management and daily team briefings.
- Ensure restaurant cleanliness and presentation remain at the highest standard.
- Maintain compliance with food hygiene, health & safety and licensing regulations.
- Assist management in achieving service excellence and business targets.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous two years supervisory experience within a busy restaurant environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure.
- Strong team player with a positive proactive attitude.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience using EPOS and reservation systems is desirable.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Pay: £12.75-£13.00 per hour
