Drainage Engineer

Totally Blocked Ltd is a rapidly expanding emergency drainage company based in Chichester, West Sussex. We provide a comprehensive range of drainage services across West Sussex, Hampshire and the surrounding areas, including:
* Emergency drain unblocking
* CCTV drain surveys
* High-pressure water jetting
* Drain repairs
* Drain patch lining and structural lining
* Drain excavations and reinstatements
* Tanker and vacuum excavation services
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
This isn't a desk job. Every day is different, and you'll be out on site solving real drainage problems for domestic, commercial and industrial customers using the latest equipment and technology.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our expanding team.
The Role
This is a full-time, permanent position working within our reactive and planned works division.
You will be responsible for carrying out drainage investigations, emergency call-outs, CCTV surveys, drain repairs and high-pressure jetting to a high professional standard.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out emergency drain unblocking works.
* Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment.
* Complete CCTV drain surveys and inspections.
* Carry out drain patch lining and drain lining works.
* Undertake drain excavations and reinstatement works.
* Diagnose drainage faults and recommend appropriate repairs.
* Complete site reports and customer documentation.
* Work safely and professionally while representing Totally Blocked Ltd.
* Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota when required.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum **3 years' drainage industry experience**.
* Full UK driving licence.
* CSCS Card.
* Confined Space qualification (or willingness to obtain).
* Experience using CCTV drainage survey equipment.
* Experience with high-pressure water jetting.
* Good mechanical aptitude and practical skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
Desirable Qualifications
* HGV Class 2 Licence (preferred).
* Experience operating combination tanker vehicles.
* Drain patch lining and structural lining experience.
* WinCan experience.
