Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm

Due to continued business growth, Smith Brothers Stores Ltd is looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join our Liverpool branch. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a successful, independently owned merchant with a reputation for Service & Value since 1897.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual who is motivated, committed, and takes pride in delivering excellent service to both colleagues and customers.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse and customer-facing duties, including:
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately
- Receiving and checking goods deliveries
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely
- Maintaining stock organisation and warehouse cleanliness
- Assisting customers at the trade counter
- Supporting the wider branch team as required
- Following all health and safety procedures
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience in the plumbing & heating, industrial pipework or air conditioning industry
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to work on their feet throughout the day
- Capability to undertake some manual handling and heavy lifting
