Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Workers to provide high-quality care to clients across London. This role offers flexible hours to accommodate your availability, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for caregiving, with experience in assisted living and patient care. You will be responsible for supporting clients in their homes, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting mobility and providing assistance as needed
- Preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
- Administering medication in accordance with prescribed instructions
- Engaging clients in social activities and behavioural management to promote mental well-being
- Providing specialised care for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or hospice needs
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any concerns or changes in condition
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment within the client’s home at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in home care, nursing home, or assisted living environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and hospice care is advantageous
- Experience in medication administration and first aid certification is preferred
- Familiarity with behaviour management techniques and caring for vulnerable adults or children
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families
