L&J Fitters Ltd are seeking an independent, self‑employed Tiler to support our long‑term Bathroom Stream contract in Boston, Lincolnshire. This engagement is offered on an outside IR35 basis, with the contractor responsible for determining how the work is completed, providing their own tools, and managing their own working methods.
Scope of Works
The appointed contractor will provide tiling services to bathrooms and wet rooms within social housing properties. Typical output is approximately 150 × 150 tile sized runs per property, however the contractor is free to organise their own working practices to meet programme requirements.
Contractor Responsibilities
Supply all necessary tools, equipment, transport and full PPE.
Plan and execute tiling and grouting works independently.
Complete properties to an agreed standard; quality expectations will be outlined but methods of working remain at the contractor’s discretion.
Maintain compliance with site safety rules while on premises.
Attend a site induction provided by the main contractor .
Provide a substitute of equal competence if required, subject to standard site access checks.

Valid CSCS Card
CIS registration
Public Liability Insurance
Asbestos Awareness Certificate
Proficiency in tiling and grouting to a professional standard
Engagement Details
Contract commencement: August 2026
Expected duration: through to 2027
Payment structure: £200–£250 per completed property, depending on quality and experience
The contractor will invoice weekly, typically on Fridays, for works completed.
First payment will be made on the third Friday from the contractor’s start date, then weekly thereafter.
Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day
