Barback Supervisor – The Charlotte Arms

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Bar Back Supervisor with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to help lead our bar back team.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and supervise the bar back team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Allocate tasks and support the team, particularly during busy periods
- Ensure consistent glass collection and oversee the glass wash operation
- Monitor stock levels and ensure products, glassware and other supplies are replenished throughout service
- Work collaboratively with management and other teams
- Monitor and report stock shortages or supply issues to management
- Assist with deliveries, stock movement, storage and organisation
- Keep stock rooms, glass wash areas and bar back stations clean and organised
- Provide hands-on support to the bar team to help maintain fast and efficient service
- Monitor team performance and provide support where needed & assist with the training and development of the bar back team
- Ensure company procedures, health and safety requirements and operational standards are followed
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Previous experience in a bar back, bar support or similar hospitality role
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Experience working in a busy, high-volume or late night venue
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with stock management and storage
- Experience with glass collection and glass wash operations
- A genuine passion for hospitality
