£14.50 to £16.50 per hour, plus commission
Equivalent to approximately £30,000 to £34,000 per year pro rata, based on full-time hours.

Sail & Peg is looking for a focused and commercially minded Sales Account Manager to join our office team for the busy summer season.
We are a Luxury Sailcloth Tent Hire Company working across weddings, private parties and events. This is a desk based sales role in a busy hire business, focused on handling enquiries quickly, selling confidently, and closing sales.
You will be speaking with clients every day, understanding what they need, preparing quotations, following up opportunities and helping move jobs through from enquiry to booking. You will work closely under our existing office lead while you learn our systems, pricing and processes, with the aim of taking more ownership as you become confident.
This role would suit someone with previous sales experience who enjoys speaking to customers, working to targets and earning commission from confirmed sales.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Taking incoming sales calls and responding to new enquiries
Speaking with clients about their event requirements
Preparing and sending quotations
Following up quotes consistently and professionally
Selling the right package for the client and the event
Helping convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
Keeping our sales pipeline, notes and customer information up to date
Liaising with the office and operations team on availability, logistics and job details
Providing clear customer service throughout the enquiry and booking process
Helping organise confirmed jobs so information is accurate before handover to operations
Staying on top of follow ups so opportunities are not missed

Previous sales experience is important. Experience in events, hospitality, hire, venues, weddings or a service based business would be useful, but the main requirement is that you are confident with people, organised with follow ups and motivated to close sales.
Hourly paid, plus commission based on confirmed sales
Fixed term contract until the end of September
