We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Nail Technology Tutor and or Make-Up Artistry Tutor to join our professional training team. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and informative lessons in nail technology and make-up artistry, adhering to recognised industry standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and practical demonstrations tailored to diverse learning needs.
- Assess student progress through practical assessments, written tests, and continuous feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and certification documentation.
- Provide guidance on best practices, health and safety procedures, and industry regulations.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and professionalism among students.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and innovations within the beauty industry to ensure training content remains current.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop new courses or update existing curricula as required.
Experience
- Must have Ofqual recognised qualifications in Nail Technology and or Make-Up Artistry are essential.
- Must have level 3 minimum in teaching and level 3 assessors award
- Proven experience in teaching or training within the beauty industry is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively convey complex concepts to students of varying skill levels.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage lesson planning, student assessments, and administrative duties efficiently.
- Familiarity with IT tools for creating digital learning materials or virtual training sessions is advantageous.
- Good interpersonal skills to motivate students, provide constructive feedback, and foster a supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Knowledge of plumbing is not necessary for this role but may be beneficial for specialised courses involving salon setup or maintenance.
