BROMOCO Network Ltd is seeking experienced BMU Cradle Operatives to join our specialist façade restoration team on prestigious commercial projects across the surrounding London area.
The role involves working from Building Maintenance Units (BMUs) carrying out the restoration, cleaning, protection and repair of high-end façade systems including powder-coated aluminium, anodised aluminium, curtain walling and architectural metalwork.
Using BROMOCO's specialist restoration systems, operatives will restore faded and weathered cladding without the need for replacement. This includes the application of specialist coatings and restoration products designed to revive colour and gloss, remove oxidation, protect architectural metals, and extend the service life of existing façade systems while maintaining the building's appearance.

Responsibilities
- Operate BMU cradles safely and efficiently.
- Carry out façade cleaning, restoration and protective coating applications using BROMOCO specialist restoration systems.
- Restore powder-coated aluminium (PPC), anodised aluminium, curtain walling and architectural cladding.
- Apply specialist restoration coatings in accordance with BROMOCO application procedures.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, decontaminating and removing oxidation prior to coating application.
- Assist with façade inspections and defect reporting.
- Complete daily BMU pre-use inspections and equipment checks.
- Work to RAMS, permit-to-work systems and site safety procedures.
- Maintain exceptional standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Work closely with supervisors and site management to achieve programme targets.
Essential Requirements
- Previous BMU/Cradle operating experience.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Working at Height experience.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety.
- Ability to work confidently at height in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual and quality focused.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes.
Desirable Qualifications
- IPAF.
- PASMA.
- IRATA (advantageous but not essential).
- ICATS.
- First Aid at Work.
- Experience in façade cleaning, façade restoration or cladding refurbishment.
- Experience applying specialist coatings to architectural metalwork, aluminium or curtain walling.
