Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Milk Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering dairy products to various retail outlets, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, contributing to the smooth operation of our delivery service. Only 18 hours a week.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload dairy products, ensuring items are handled with care and stored correctly
- Deliver milk and related products to designated retail outlets within scheduled timeframes
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain signatures upon delivery where required
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Perform heavy lifting when loading or unloading products, ensuring safety procedures are followed
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, particularly within the food or beverage sector
- Full driving license required
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers
- Full training provided
