Job Summary
We are seeking two dedicated Trainee and/or Qualified Dental Nurses to join our friendly dental practice as permanent or maternity cover nurses. Responsibilities
- Assisting dentists with a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth clinical operations
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Providing excellent patient care by offering reassurance and explaining procedures clearly
- Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and ensuring confidentiality at all times
- Supporting patients before, during, and after treatment to ensure their comfort and understanding
- Maintaining high standards of infection control and cleanliness within the practice
- Organising appointments and managing the practice schedule efficiently
- Communicating effectively with patients, colleagues, and suppliers to facilitate seamless service delivery
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dental nursing; training will be provided for trainees, but they should already have at least 6 months' experience.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with patients and team members
- Organised with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Compassionate approach with a focus on patient care and well-being
- Basic IT skills for managing patient records and appointment scheduling
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
