We're working with a growing accountancy practice in Reading that's looking for an Audit Senior / Audit Assistant Manager to join its team.
The level can be tailored around your experience, so this could suit an established Audit Senior looking for their next step or someone already operating around Assistant Manager level.
The Role
You'll take ownership of audit assignments while working closely with managers and partners. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading audits from initial planning through fieldwork and completion
- Managing audit teams on-site and delegating work
- Reviewing audit files and work completed by junior team members
- Coaching and supporting trainees and semi seniors
- Managing client relationships and dealing with queries throughout assignments
- Monitoring deadlines, budgets and progress
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts where required
- Working with managers and partners on more complex assignments
- Gradually taking on greater portfolio and management responsibility
About You
You'll have solid audit experience within a UK accountancy practice and be ACA/ACCA qualified or approaching qualification.
