Job Title: Moulding Technician (Shift rotation Earlies/Lates)
Location: Stonehouse
Working Hours:
- Earlies: Monday–Thursday 5:30 am – 2:00 pm, Friday 6:00 am – 11:00 am
- Lates: Monday–Thursday 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Friday 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
(Flexibility required to provide cover for holidays and sickness as needed.)
Role Purpose
To support production by carrying out tool changes, process set-ups and routine inspections for the mould shop, ensuring all operations meet quality, safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all tool changes and set-ups of ancillary and associated equipment efficiently.
- Maintain a proactive approach to quality, ensuring strict adherence to all company procedures.
- Use only verified production programs; ensure any process changes remain within authorised guidelines, record all changes on QR-182 and communicate appropriately.
- Promptly communicate any maintenance issues to the Senior Technician.
- Assist in the mould shop maintenance programme when required.
- Complete First-Off Inspections as required.
- Perform patrol inspections of moulded components at least every two hours.
- Assist with qualification of mouldings as needed.
- Record and report any non-conformances to the Senior Technician, Mould Shop Manager (MSM) and Quality Manager (QM).
- Maintain accurate and complete production and quality records.
- Participate in all forms of training—both delivering and receiving.
- Ensure the work area is safe, clean, and compliant with health & safety standards.
- Contribute to maintaining compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and IVD regulatory requirements, including Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Provide First Aid support to the facility after completing approved First Aid training.
Quality & Safety
- Ensure all work meets required quality standards and is carried out in line with the company’s quality system.
- Immediately inform Production or Quality personnel of any quality-related issues.
- Support and promote a culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

Pay: £18.03-£19.03 per hour
