Duties
- Greet and welcome customers with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, adhering to food safety standards throughout the process.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the serving area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer concerns regarding their meals.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
- Participate in catering events as required, providing excellent service in various settings.
- Uphold the restaurant's policies on food safety and hygiene at all times.Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.
