Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including beds, bathrooms, windows, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, linens, and other supplies to provide guests with everything they need for a comfortable stay.
- Maintain public areas by vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, emptying trash bins, and ensuring all spaces are tidy and welcoming.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards.
- Follow established safety procedures and cleaning protocols to promote a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Support team members during busy periods by efficiently managing assigned cleaning tasks while maintaining quality standards.
Skills
- Previous hotel experience or familiarity with hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for cleanliness and organization.
- Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles that demonstrate reliability and thoroughness.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated schedules.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Good communication skills to understand instructions clearly and report issues effectively.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout shifts.
