Deputy Manager-Residential care home, Swansea / Paid breaks/ Enhanced Training
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

This role is for you if you are someone who:
· Is visible and offers hands-on leadership
· Is calm, organised, and confident in a dementia care environment.
· Enjoys mentoring staff and bringing out the best in people.
· Takes pride in standards, compliance, and doing things properly, not cutting corners.
In this role you will
· Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, always ensuring outstanding care.
· Lead, mentor, and support the care team.
· Maintain high standards of care planning, medication management, documentation, supervisions, staffing issues, creating rotas, communicating with multidisciplinary teams, showing around prospective residents and families.
· Play an active role in KPIs, inspections, and continuous improvement.
· Build strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and other professionals.
· Step confidently into the Manager’s role when required.
· Be familiar with electronic care software, EMAR, MS Office.

· Support with qualifications (e.g. Level 4/5 / leadership training)
