We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator, this role is ideal for someone looking to develop their project coordinating career, with a passion for engineering and a desire to grow within a dynamic team. The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the planning, execution and successful delivery of engineering-focused projects. The role involves managing administrative duties, coordinating project activities, tracking progress and ensuring effective communication between technical teams and stakeholders. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, problem-solving and attention to detail are key aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Project Manager of Business & Process Management, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Coordinate project activities by supporting meetings, managing documentation and maintaining effective communication across engineering teams, contractors and clients.
- Support project planning by coordinating schedules, resources, procurement activities and project documentation to ensure smooth delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify and escalate risks, and support the delivery of high-quality outputs that meet project and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting process enhancements, promoting a learning culture and maintaining compliance with company and quality management standards.
What we are looking for
You will be a natural at working collaborative across various teams and will also have some of the following skills:
- Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira or Asana.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Adaptable, eager to learn and develop within an engineering or project coordination environment, with a commitment to teamwork, safety and continuous improvement.
