Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled bench Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and possess the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires a hands-on approach to assembling, fabricating, and installing structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials. The Joiner will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality workmanship on all projects.
Duties
- Assemble and fabricate wooden structures according to specifications and blueprints.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of materials and fixtures.
- Utilise power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing wood components.
- Carry out painting tasks to finish surfaces to a high standard.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to joinery work.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work.
- Familiarity with painting techniques for finishing wood surfaces.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
