Home Produce Kitchen Assistant
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays (and occasional weekends on the run up to peak periods) | 9:00am – 16:00pm - during training period. 8:00am - 16:00pm after training period.
£10.85 - £12.71 per hour (dependent on age and must be over 18 years old)
We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our Home Produce Kitchen team.
Working behind the scenes in our on-site kitchen, you'll help prepare a range of delicious handmade products – from soups and cheesecakes to baked goods and seasonal treats.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the preparation and packaging of home-made goods
- Assisting with basic kitchen tasks (washing, peeling, measuring, etc.)
- Labelling and dating products
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Working as part of a small, friendly team
What We’re Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail and hygiene awareness
- Ability to follow instructions and work at a steady pace
- Ability to be able to lift large bags of flour, large oven racks and other heavy ingredients
- Experience in a kitchen is helpful, but not essential – full training provided
