Salary: £28,000-£30,000
Annual Leave: 28 days (including bank holidays)
Location: Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire
Service Description

The People We Support are adults with learning disabilities, autism, learning difficulties, acquired brain injury, complex needs, behavioural challenges, mental health conditions and physical disabilities and other associated health needs.
Job Summary

Abacus Care and Support is a privately owned family group with associated companies. which specialisms include supported living and healthcare for vulnerable adults. We have been operating our services since 2023, and we are committed to continued quality and growth within our sector. As our group goes through an exciting period of growth, period of expansion and change, we are looking to recruit a Talent Acquisition Administrator to support and progress our recruitment processes, as well as the administrative functions to uphold business operations.
Job Role Overview
The Recruitment Administrator will provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Advisor and wider recruitment activities across the organisation, including screening applications, coordinating interviews, candidate communication, interview note taking and maintaining recruitment trackers and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Screen applications and shortlist candidates.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain calendars.
- Take accurate interview notes.
- Contact candidates and provide recruitment updates.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and systems.
- Prepare recruitment documentation.
- Support compliance and safer recruitment checks.
- Provide general administrative support to the Internal Trainer.
- Support HR with onboarding
- Liaise with the HR Advisor to ensure a smooth transition from offer to onboarding
- Attending career fairs, community events, and recruitment open days where appropriate.
Compliance & Safe Recruitment
As a CQC-registered provider, the postholder must ensure recruitment practices align with regulatory requirements and safe recruitment standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all recruitment activity complies with CQC regulations and guidance.
- Ensuring recruitment records are maintained in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all recruitment practices.
- Ensuring candidates understand the organisation’s commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience
Essential
- Previous administration experience.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
Desirable
- Previous recruitment experience
