Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Relief Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to loss prevention and the ability to respond effectively to incidents as they arise.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of property and personnel.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities or breaches of security.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist in the training of new security personnel on protocols and emergency procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience in security or loss prevention is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation, is advantageous.
- Certification in first aid or emergency response is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong attention to detail.
