Job Title: Personal Assistant
Responsible To: Founder and Artistic Director
Hours Required: 27 hours per week:
Mondays - 12-3pm
Tuesday to Friday 10-4pm
Employment Status: Self-employed
Salary: £15.00 per hour
Location: Working in Chingford, Waltham Forest, London E4, with ad-hoc opportunities to work from home, plus supporting with ad-hoc travel to North, South, East and West London and parts of the UK.
Purpose of Post: The Personal Assistant role will provide comprehensive, confidential, and professional support to a vibrant, self-employed Artistic Director with fibromyalgia and chronic anxiety, enabling her to maintain an independent, effective, and efficient work-life.
The post-holder will provide practical support to administrate the day-to-day needs of her non-profit organisation, in all aspects concerned with its efficient and successful operation.
This post is only suitable for reliable candidates able to commit to a long-term working relationship of at least two years.
Main Duties:
Support with Administration
Practical support and assistance, including prompting, encouragement, and reminders for:
- Basic email management
- Making sales calls to clients
- Coordinating projects
- Coordinating events
- Filing and keeping paperwork in order
- Responding to enquiries on social media and posting relevant information
- Preparations to leave the house, including helping to establish what equipment and paperwork is required and carrying equipment and bags
- Appointments and diarised tasks
- Remembering information and establishing tasks to be completed
- Correspondence and paperwork
- Work-related minor mobility challenges in the workspace and in the wider community, where necessary

Knowledge -

- Confident with making and receiving phone calls

- Knowledge and experience (personal or professional) of exercise and the benefits for vulnerable bodies
