About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play an important role in supporting residents with their daily lives while helping to maintain excellent standards of care throughout the home.
You will provide hands-on support, lead by example and assist the wider team to ensure residents receive compassionate, respectful and personalised care.
This role would suit an experienced support worker who enjoys taking responsibility, supporting colleagues and helping to create a positive environment for both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Providing high-quality, person-centred support to residents
- Supporting residents with personal care, wellbeing and daily routines
- Administering and recording medication safely
- Leading shifts and supporting care team members
- Helping mentor and guide junior colleagues
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
- Building strong relationships with residents, families and colleagues
- Promoting dignity, independence, choice and quality of life

About You
We are looking for a caring and experienced Senior Support Worker who:
- Has previous experience in a senior support or care role
- Is confident leading shifts and supporting colleagues
- Has medication administration experience
- Is compassionate, reliable and professional
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Is passionate about supporting older people and improving their quality of life
