Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of guest areas, restrooms, and common spaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
- Assist with guest inquiries, providing friendly and efficient service to ensure a positive experience
- Monitor and manage janitorial supplies, ensuring all cleaning equipment is well-maintained and stocked
- Support hotel staff with light administrative tasks related to cleanliness schedules and safety protocols
- Conduct routine inspections of public areas to identify and address cleanliness or safety issues promptly
- Follow established health and safety guidelines to maintain a secure environment for guests and team members
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules during peak times or special events
Requirements
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly desirable
- Proven janitorial or cleaning experience with a focus on quality and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and safety procedures within a hospitality setting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to assist guests courteously and professionally
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
