Service Engineer | Permanent | Full Time

We're looking for a Service Engineer who understands how things are made, can confidently read engineering drawings and enjoys solving problems for customers.
You'll take technical enquiries, understand what the customer needs and work with Engineering and Production teams to find the right solution.
You'll then turn that solution into an accurate, commercially viable quotation.
It's a great opportunity to develop your career across both the technical AND commercial sides of engineering.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Provide technical advice and support to customers
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Understand customer requirements and identify practical solutions
- Work closely with Engineering, Production and Commercial teams
- Prepare accurate and commercially viable quotations
- Manage technical enquiries from initial contact through to quotation
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships
- Support and grow existing customer accounts
- Develop your commercial knowledge and identify new opportunities

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You'll ideally come from a technical engineering or manufacturing environment.
You'll need:
- Experience in service, production, manufacturing, engineering or design
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Understanding of engineering/manufacturing processes
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Confidence communicating with customers
- Commercial awareness
- A proactive, collaborative approach
- Ideally, experience with quotations, specifications or technical enquiries
