We are seeking professional and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our logistics team.

Duties HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods efficiently and safely.
- Plan routes to optimise delivery times while adhering to legal driving hours and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-journey inspections of vehicles, including checking tyres, brakes, lights, and load security.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules or delays.
- Comply with all road traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as required, reporting any issues promptly to the maintenance team.
Skills HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Relevant Driving experience required
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record;
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for cargo securement.
- Ability to plan routes effectively and adapt to changing schedules or traffic conditions.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail for documentation and safety checks.
- Physical fitness to load/unload cargo and perform vehicle inspections as needed.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with dispatch teams and clients professionally. This position is ideal for dedicated drivers looking to advance their career within the logistics sector by delivering exceptional service while maintaining safety standards at all times.
Pay: £17.37-£23.12 per hour
