Express Catering are seeking reliable, hard working Catering Assistants to join our mobile catering team. This role involves working in a fast paced environment within our catering trailer providing excellent food and customer service in Gosford Forest Park and also at various locations and events throughout Northern Ireland.
Requirements:
- Availability to work weekends and bank holidays (essential)
- Previous catering or food handling experience is desirable - full training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking food to a high standard.
- Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen duties.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the trailer, equipment and work areas.
- Following food safety procedures, including HACCP and stock rotation
- Taking customer orders accurately and handling payments (cash & card)
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.
