Set in an acre we have a selection of gardens, buildings, bedrooms, swimming pools, bathrooms and holiday cottages and more.
Duties & Responsibilities
- daily pool maintenance and log charts
- Dedicated to the upkeep and presentation of the building interiors and grounds.
- Gardening, planting, tidying, jet washing
- Fixing, mending and making new things.
- Fires, logs, kindling
- Hotel bathroom maintenance
- Paiting, touching up.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Professional dedicated trades come in to do major work.
- assist in coordinating external trade contractors e.g. plumbers, electricians
- Enthusiastic, energetic, person. Experience is an advantage, but not absolutely necessary!
- Ability to work well in a busy and professional environment.
- Willingness to learn and gain experience.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards and continuous improvement.

The Durham Ox is a 300-year-old, family-owned pub known for its friendly service, local produce, and extensive range of wines and cask ales.
Our traditional pub features flagstone floors, exposed beams, oak panelling, and roaring fires in winter. Alongside our award winning A la Carte Restaurant. We offer private dining, event spaces, a wedding venue, cocktail & Sports Bar and overnight accommodation, including 8 bedrooms and pool suites and a self-catering cottage. Located in the charming village of Crayke, we are part of the beautiful Howardian Hills' Area of Outstanding Beauty. We are expanding the bsuiness this year adding 6 garden suites and sauna and pool.
