Job Description
REN Caring is looking for compassionate and reliable Care Workers to join our growing team, providing care and support to clients in their own homes.
If you are caring, dependable, and passionate about helping others maintain their independence, we would love to hear from you.
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience in health and social care (preferred but not essential, as training can be provided).
- Be caring, patient, and compassionate.
- Be reliable, trustworthy, and professional.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be flexible with working hours to meet clients' needs, including evenings and weekends where required.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own reliable vehicle (essential).
Main Duties
- Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Assisting with medication, where appropriate and following training.
- Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition and hydration.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with light household duties and maintaining a safe home environment.
- Supporting clients with shopping and attending appointments where required.
- Encouraging independence and promoting clients' wellbeing.
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns.
Hours
- Flexible shifts available.
- Part-time and full-time positions.
- Weekend availability may be required.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Own reliable vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Compassionate, respectful, and committed to providing high-quality care.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
