As a warehouse porter, you will report to the Operations Manager and work under the supervision of the Team Leaders and Senior Fitters to complete projects as instructed. You’ll be responsible for assisting in the reorganisation of the warehouse including building office furniture after receiving training, providing a high level of service and workmanship at all times, to exceed client expectations. Excellent communication and organisation is required as you will be interacting with internal departments daily. Upholding high standards, so it is essential to possess high energy, passion for delivering customer satisfaction, positive attitude and willing to go the extra mile. Smart personal presentation always and well-spoken English. The candidate must be devoted to exceeding customer expectations in areas of customer service, fitting and assembly.
To be considered for the role at ORS UK, you must have the following experience, skills, and attributes.
- At least 1 year experience heavy lifting
- Driver up to 3.5 tonne (advantageous but not essential)
- Polite, professional and helpful manner
- Professional appearance and attitude, with high personal standards
- Enthusiasm, with a flexible approach to work, and a can-do positive attitude
- Strong team player whilst able to work autonomously
- Physically fit and able to lift and manoeuvre loads
- Awareness of Health and Safety regulations is desirable
- Checking delivery loads.
- Checking off collections.
- Associated internal processes for reporting back pre & post install.
- Adhering to company H & S & quality control checks.
- Any other duties to assist Installation Manager.

40 hours per week, usually worked between 7am-4.30pm. Salary £26,436.80 dependent upon national living wage for your age.
